Terms of Service — Daicho
Effective date: 23 October 2026 Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Daicho website at daicho.app, the Daicho account pages at my.daicho.app, and the Daicho service accessed through your connected AI assistant (together, the "Service"), provided by Wisertrack Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("Wisertrack," "Daicho," "we," "us"). By creating an account, connecting an assistant, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at daicho.app/privacy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use the Service.
2. The Service
Daicho is a personal ledger: it keeps standard double-entry books of your own money, which you read and update through your own AI assistant (for example Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP-compatible tool) rather than through a conventional app screen. You tell your assistant what happened; the assistant proposes what to record; the Service stores it.
Daicho records money. It never moves money. The Service does not connect to your bank or card provider, does not make or receive payments on your behalf, and cannot spend from any account. The books are append-only: a recorded entry is never edited or deleted, and a mistake is corrected by a visible reversal and a new entry.
Not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. The Service is software for keeping records. Nothing in it, on our website, or in anything your assistant says about your figures is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Take advice from a qualified professional before relying on your figures for any important decision.
Accuracy of what is recorded. Your figures are only as accurate as what is recorded. Amounts, dates, descriptions and foreign-exchange rates are supplied by you or by your assistant; the Service does not look them up or check them against any outside source.
On marketing and assistant-generated descriptions. Descriptions of the Service on our website, in marketing materials, or generated by your connected AI assistant are provided for general guidance only and are not a warranty of specific functionality. An assistant's explanation of what Daicho can do, or of what your ledger shows, is that assistant's own output, not a statement made by us. Where there's any inconsistency between such descriptions and the functionality actually delivered by the Service, the Service as delivered controls.
3. Accounts
There are no passwords. You sign in with a one-time code emailed to your address, and you're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Give a real email address that you control. Notify us promptly at info@wisertrack.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
An account is for one person and can own one ledger. You must approve each AI assistant before it can connect to your ledger, and you can stop an assistant's access at any time by removing the connection in that assistant's settings.
4. Plans & Billing
4.1 Free access. Some access to the Service may be free, for example during a beta, an invitation-only period or a trial. We will tell you before free access ends, and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
4.2 Paid plans. A paid plan is billed for each billing period at the price shown when you subscribe. You subscribe from your account page at my.daicho.app. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, which collects your payment details and issues your receipts and invoices; we never receive or store your card number. Your connected AI assistant cannot make or accept payments.
4.3 Renewal and failed payments. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. For a yearly plan, you will receive an email reminder at least seven (7) days before it renews. You can cancel at any time from your account page; your plan then continues to the end of the period already paid. If a payment fails, the payment provider may retry it.
4.4 When a plan ends. If your paid plan ends or payment fails, you always keep the ability to read your ledger, export it and delete it. Recording new entries may be paused until a plan is active again. No ledger data is deleted or hidden because a plan changes or ends.
4.5 Prices and taxes. Prices are shown at checkout, in the currency shown there. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout and added where required. We will give notice of a price change under Section 15. A price change applies to you only from your next billing period after the notice period.
4.6 Refunds. If your first purchase of a paid plan does not suit you, you may ask for a full refund within fourteen (14) days of that payment by writing to info@wisertrack.com. Renewals are not refunded, except where required by applicable law. This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate applicable law or infringe a third party's rights
- Record the finances of another person without their permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorised access to the Service, its underlying systems, or any other user's ledger
- Introduce malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the Service's security, including by working around its request limits
- Resell the Service or use access to it to build a competing product
- Misrepresent your identity, or let others use your account
- Record bank passwords, card numbers, or other credentials in your ledger
Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure before suspending or terminating an account for a violation of this section. Immediate suspension without prior notice is reserved for cases involving a genuine security threat, suspected fraud, or unlawful activity, where waiting for a cure period would create material risk.
6. Your Data
6.1 Ownership. As between you and Wisertrack, you retain ownership of the accounts, entries, descriptions, settings and other content that you or your connected assistant record in the Service ("Your Data"). We claim no ownership over Your Data.
6.2 Our licence to use it. You grant Wisertrack a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Data solely as necessary to provide the Service, including making it available to the AI assistant you choose to connect, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.3 What we will not do with it. We will not sell Your Data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
6.4 Your connected AI assistant. You choose which AI assistant to connect to the Service, and that choice, and everything that assistant does with data after receiving it in response to your request, is between you and that assistant's provider, not something Wisertrack controls or is responsible for. Read what your assistant proposes to record before you confirm it. See our Privacy Policy, Section 6.
6.5 Export & deletion. You can export your whole ledger at any time by asking your connected assistant. You can also delete your whole ledger at any time through your assistant: the Service shows what will be deleted, asks you to export first, and asks you to confirm by typing your ledger's name. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To remove your sign-in as well, write to info@wisertrack.com. We keep records of who accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and when, for six (6) years, and a short record that a ledger was deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.6 Keep your own copy. We do not guarantee that backups of Your Data exist or can be restored. Export your ledger regularly and keep the copy somewhere safe. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the loss of data that you could have kept by exporting it.
7. Third-Party Services & Trademark Notice
The Service relies on infrastructure, hosting, email delivery and payment providers, and is designed to be used together with an AI assistant of your choosing (Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP-compatible tool), which you connect yourself. Your use of any such third-party service is also governed by that provider's own terms. We use reasonable efforts in selecting the providers we work with but are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions, including the independent acts of the AI assistant you choose to connect.
Any third-party names, logos, or trademarks referenced on our website or within the Service (for example, in connection with the AI assistants you can connect) are the property of their respective owners. None of these references imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Wisertrack.
8. Intellectual Property
Wisertrack and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service itself, including its software, design, the Daicho name and logo, and underlying technology, except for Your Data as described above. These Terms don't grant you rights to Wisertrack's trademarks, logos, or brand assets beyond using the Service as intended.
9. Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service reliably available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will provide advance notice for planned maintenance where practical. No formal uptime service-level commitment applies. If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice so that you can export Your Data, except where the law or a genuine security threat requires faster action, and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
10. Term & Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time: delete your ledger, remove the connection from your assistant, and, if you have one, cancel your paid plan. We may suspend or restrict access as described in Section 5, or terminate for uncured material breach after reasonable notice; where we can, we will let you export Your Data first. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, subject to the export and deletion terms in Section 6 and our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any balance, total or report calculated from your ledger is correct for any purpose, and, as noted in Section 2, informal descriptions of the Service, including those generated by your connected AI assistant, do not constitute a warranty of specific functionality.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under mandatory law applicable to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wisertrack's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim and fifty US dollars (US$50), and Wisertrack will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or for any financial decision you make based on figures in your ledger.
This limitation does not apply to, and nothing in these Terms excludes or limits: liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence; liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or any other liability, guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under mandatory law applicable to you.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Wisertrack harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of applicable law or a third party's rights.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If a dispute arises, please write to us first at info@wisertrack.com; most problems can be resolved quickly that way. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms that is not resolved within thirty (30) days will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of SIAC for the time being in force, seated in Singapore, conducted in English. Either party may instead bring a claim that falls within the limits of the Small Claims Tribunals of Singapore before those Tribunals.
Carve-out for protected users: if mandatory law that applies to you, including consumer-protection law in the country where you live, does not permit a foreign governing-law or arbitration clause to override your right to bring a claim before your local courts, or to rely on rights or guarantees that cannot be waived by agreement, then this clause applies only to the extent permitted by that law, and you retain whatever rights that law provides notwithstanding the arbitration clause above.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information pending resolution of the arbitration.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, including changes to pricing, core functionality, or these Terms themselves, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice by email or a notice on our website or account pages before the change takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service. If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect without penalty, and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period; continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
16. General
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same commitments described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to best reflect its original intent to the extent permitted by law.
Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wisertrack regarding the Service, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous representations not expressly incorporated here, including any description of the Service given by your own connected AI assistant (see Section 2).
Notices: We may provide notices by email to the address you sign in with, or by posting on our website or account pages.
