Your personal money ledger
Know where your money goes, just by asking.
Tell your own AI assistant what you spent, earned or owe, in your own words. Daicho keeps a proper record of it and works out your balances. No app to learn, no spreadsheet to fix.
Tested with Claude Other assistants that support MCP should work too.
Private beta: you need an invitation to sign in.
Had lunch with Maya yesterday, 18.50 on my card.
I'll record 18.50 for Eating out, paid by your card, dated yesterday. Shall I save it?
Yes. How much have I spent eating out this month?
Saved. Eating out this month: 212.40 across nine entries, as worked out by Daicho.
Daicho asks your assistant to show you each entry and wait for your yes before anything is saved.
How it works
You talk to your assistant. Daicho keeps your money straight.

Never moves your money
MCP is the open standard that lets AI assistants connect to services like Daicho. Connect your assistant once, then just ask.
Daicho holds your records
Your accounts, cards, subscriptions and every entry live in Daicho, in one ledger that is yours.
Your assistant does the talking
It turns what you say into an entry, checks with you before saving, and shows you the answers the way you like.
What it does
Your money, all in one conversation.
Everything runs by asking your connected assistant, in plain words.
-
Everyday spending
"Coffee, 5.20, on my card." Tell your assistant what you spent or earned, even from last week. Daicho records it properly.
-
Accounts as you go
Your banks, cards, loans and spending categories are set up the first time you need them, with your starting balances.
-
What you have and owe
Ask for your net worth today, or on any past date, and see your balances for each currency you keep.
-
Where the money went
"What did I spend on eating out last month?" Spending by category, for any period you like.
-
Your credit card, clear
Your card limit and what you have left to spend, plus instalment plans with the months paid and the months to go.
-
Subscriptions in one list
Keep every subscription in one place and see which charges are coming up next.
And also
-
More than one currency
Keep accounts in the currencies you actually use, and see what you hold in each.
-
Loan repayments, split
See how much of a repayment is interest and how much brings the loan down.
-
Your data, any time
Ask your assistant to export your whole ledger whenever you want a copy.
Not in Daicho: bank connections, payments of any kind, and screens of its own. Not yet: automatic backups and a restore tool, so export your ledger now and then. We would rather tell you plainly than let you find out later.

Your data
You stay in charge of every entry.
Your assistant does the talking. Daicho keeps the record, and you have the final say.
-
Nothing is saved without your yes
Daicho tells your assistant to say each change in plain words and wait for you. Where a change has a dry run, you see it first.
-
Figures worked out, not guessed
Balances and totals are calculated by Daicho from your entries, so the numbers always add up.
-
Mistakes reversed, never erased
An entry is never edited or deleted. A mistake is reversed and recorded again, so your history stays complete.
-
Yours to keep or remove
Export your ledger whenever you like, or ask your assistant to delete it. It shows you what will go before anything does.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can I use Daicho now?
Daicho is in a small private beta, by invitation only. If you have an invitation, the connect page walks you through it in about five minutes. Open the connect page.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You say what happened in your own words. Behind the scenes Daicho keeps a proper double-entry ledger, so your balances always add up.
Which AI assistants work with it?
We have tested the sign-in with Claude. Other assistants that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in should work too, but we have not tested them yet. You use your own assistant, with your own account.
Does Daicho connect to my bank?
No. Daicho records money; it never moves money and never connects to a bank. You tell your assistant what happened, using your bank's own figures.
Can my assistant change things without me knowing?
Daicho tells your assistant to say each change in plain words and wait for your yes before recording it. Where a change has a dry run, you see the dry run first.
What if I record something by mistake?
Nothing is edited or deleted. Ask your assistant to reverse the entry and record the right one, so your history shows what changed.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. A computer is easiest for the first setup; after that your assistant's phone app works too.
How much will it cost?
Pricing isn't set yet.
Is this financial advice?
No. Daicho is software that keeps your records. Nothing it or your assistant says through it is financial, tax or legal advice.
